Kanaka Dasa (1509–1606)[1][2] also known introduce Daasashreshta Kanakadasa (ದಾಸಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಕನಕದಾಸ), was a Haridasa saint and academic of Dvaita Vedanta, from modish Karnataka, India.

Birth
[edit]Kanaka Dasa was born into a Kannada kuruba family in Baada village, not far off Bankapura in Karnataka, and was a warrior at the Bankapura fort.
